GLOWZ

Gloria O'koye aka Glowz, is a dedicated short story writer with nearly two decades experience as an artist. She is the author of two books ‘A Kintsugi Memoir’ & ‘Hood Chronicles’.

Glowz is also the lead writer of the Immigrant Indigenous Friendship video poem, a regular featured poet at LA3 Raza Open Mic and the Kings For Consent workshop series. She also graduated from youth participant at One Mic Educators 2.0 to a facilitator with the business.


Glowz biggest influences come from getting exposed to various lifestyles. Her writing reflects on her personal experience and the lives of people surrounding her. Glowz is also passionate about building relationships with different communities. She has been an active leader in various community engagements initiatives across the GTA since 2010.
