OUR TRAJECTORY

ONE MIC EDUCATORS (OME) is a multi-disciplinary arts education enterprise and artist collective dedicated to building up racialized youth who are gifted because their voices matter. We are also mandated to prioritize the platforming Indigenous, Black, Palestinian and Latin American artists in all that we do.

OUR CORE PRINCIPLES:

REFERENCE FROM THE BABIES

We have executed consultations, hundreds of spoken word workshops, dozens of visits to Six Nations territory, fundraising thousands of dollars for grassroots causes and delivered dozens of open mic events through our LA Raza Open Mic series, LA Raza Festival, LA Raza BIPOC Access Artist development project and Kings for Consent workshops.
